We are an equal opportunities employer and we are determined to ensure that no applicant receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, age, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, marital status or race, or is disadvantaged by conditions or requirement which cannot be shown to be justifiable.

Our objective is to foster a learning environment which rewards diligence, scholarship and out-of-the-box thinking while encouraging fellowship and fraternity in a Chambers setting.

In Service Trainee

Lawgivers is committed to providing high quality training for those wishing to pursue a career at the Bar. For many this period of In-Service Training is a law student’s first contact with the actual practice of law.

We usually retain up to three (3) pupils at any one time and will consider applications for six-month attachments and ten-week attachments based on the students’ needs and matriculation requirements.

Our In-Service Training program is designed to provide students with practical training in client communication, problem solving, critical analysis, case preparation and trial advocacy. We also encourage our trainees to become familiar with office and case management in a time-sensitive environment.
